Methodical recommendations of formation of working groups for drawing up of medical and technical requirements for medical equipment are approved

In accordance with subparagraph 3 of paragraph 6 and paragraph 8 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 25, 2015, № 267 (as amended by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 24, 2020, № 90), improvement of the procedure for drafting medical and technical requirements for medical equipment and in accordance with the Minutes of the meeting chaired by the Minister of Health of Ukraine M. Stepanov with Deputy Ministers and State Secretary of January 26, 2021, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine from 05.02.2021 № 197 recommendations for the formation of working groups for the preparation of medical and technical requirements for medical equipment (hereinafter – the Guidelines).

According to the text of the Guidelines, the working groups for the preparation of medical and technical requirements for medical equipment (hereinafter – the Working Groups) is an advisory body formed to organize work on the preparation of information on the necessary technical, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of medical equipment and addressing other issues that arise during the purchase of medical equipment.

According to the text of the Guidelines, the personnel of the Working Group is approved by an order of the Ministry of Health, which also includes members of the Working Group.

Members of the Working Group, in particular, are representatives of the expert community with relevant professional orientation, who have higher education, relevant qualifications, and professional knowledge in the medical, pharmaceutical, vocational, and technical fields, etc. (at least two people subject to procurement requirements), and also specialists who have a specialization that corresponds to the direction of the Working Group (at least two people, taking into account the requirements for the subject of procurement).
